1. Tell Your Story in the About Section

Your Facebook profile allows you to give followers instant access to all the basic information about your business that you want to share. In order for people to easily find your page, include your page as "employer" in the "work history" area of the “About” section. You can edit your work history by clicking the upper right pencil icon.

2. Use the Follow Button

When enabling the "follow button," anyone can view your public updates. Simply clicking the follow button, fans can view your profile and then spread the word. Even though Facebook limits friends to 5,000, there is no limit on the number of followers you can have.

Here's How to Enable the Follow Button:

  • In the upper right corner click "Settings"
  • On the left sidebar select "Followers"
  • Under "Who Can Follow Me" choose "Everybody" instead of "Friends"

The "Boost a Post" feature lets you promote your content in a concise way that can help expand your email list. This advertising feature costs money but allows your posts to be seen by more people in the community news feed.
