We are excited to announce that we will be offering scholarship opportunities every quarter for college students. Each scholarship will be an award of $500, and we will be awarding two qualified applicants every quarter. All applicants are required to submit a one page paper discussing their academic background, extracurricular activities in school, internship or work experience, career aspirations, and intentions with the awarded money.

To be qualified for the scholarship, one must:

  • Be enrolled full time at a college or university
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Submit a one-page paper

If you meet our criteria to be considered for this scholarship opportunity, you can go HERE to apply.

Quarterly deadlines are as follows: March 15th, 2014, June 15th, 2014, September 15th, 2014, and December 15th, 2014.

All applicants will be given the opportunity to participate in FREE transcription training provided by The Transcription Certification Institute (www.transcriptioncertificationinstitute.org). Upon completion of the course, GMR Transcription may consider an applicant for a part-time internship or employment as a transcriber.

This is an optional course that trains students to become certified transcribers. Transcription is a great job for college students because it allows for the opportunity to work from home with a flexible schedule to work around school obligations.
