Scholarship Program:
GMR Transcription is a leading transcription services company that transcribes voice recordings for academic, business, legal, non-profit and other organizations. The company also translates from Spanish to English, English to Spanish, English to Mandarin and Mandarin to English. Over 5,200 GMR Transcription clients are served by over 200 trained independent contractor transcribers.
Scholarship Value (see FAQ for details):
- Free transcription training at www.TranscriptionCertificationInstitute.org, a $399 value
- A completion certificate from Transcription Certification Institute.
- $500 stipend to two students who gets certified
- Transcription equipment package to five students who get certified
- Guaranteed part-time transcription work from GMR Transcription.
Requirements:
You must be currently enrolled in college and register using your college issued email address.
Frequency:
This is a quarterly scholarship program, offered during Fall and Spring semesters. Students are welcome to apply for the program throughout the year. Qualified students will receive an email with information for completing the coursework on the following quarterly deadline dates: March 15th, June 15th, September 15th, and December 15th.
